Lexan® and Plexiglas®

Polycarbonate & Acrylic Sheet

Lexan® and Plexiglas® are both trade names for polycarbonate and acrylic sheet respectively. Each has unique properties that lend them to specific uses and both are considered safety glass when used in glazing applications.

Available in thicknesses from 1/16" up to 1" and sheets sizes up to 10' x 12' in some colors. Both Lexan® and Plexiglas® can be custom cut to any size and shape and can be drilled for various fastening options. In 1/16" and 1/8" thicknesses sheets can be bent, allowing for curved applications that only tempered glass could normally be used. Boats, RV's, Patio tables and other outdoor applications benefit from the flexibility and safety that Lexan® and Plexiglas® offer. A wide range of colors are available as well as several different textures.
